To start with, the technical scope includes Emme/2 model output. Experience in this area will be highly regarded, however if you are a motivated experienced modeller that wants to gain this experience, the Transport Manager is help elevate your skills to the Emme level.

Minimum of 3 years local transport modelling experience
Initially you will be focused on a large scale Queensland Government public transport infrastructure projects from Greenfields to completion of detailed design with input into implementation.
Working closely with the Department of Transport and Main Roads this project will open doors career wise for ambitious design leaders as the project takes shape to be one of QLD’s flagship developments.
Technically, you will guide the design process including identifying potential transport corridor opportunities and determining the physical feasibility of implementing those options. You will also take a decisive leadership role in delivering numerous car park and intersection layouts.
It is a given that at design manager level, a large portion of your daily activity will be given to providing advice regarding detail issues for the purposes of attaining development application approvals and best practice outcomes. This high level of interaction with various stakeholders will give you the opportunity to solidify yourself as a leading transport professional in the state.
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
